Lemon is normally the star of the show when Salmon is on the menu. But we decided to change things up & swapped out the lemon for lime. Whether you’re a lemon lover or a lime lover, we guarantee you’ll love this combo.
Lime is less acidic than lemon & balances out the sweetness of our delicious clover honey. The honey butter thickens just enough to caramelize on the top & create a thin crisp layer. Then the garlic steps in to enhance the flavor throughout the entire filet.
You’re going to love this one!

Honey Lime Garlic Butter Salmon
1/3 c Butter
1/4 c Rocky Mountain Honey, clover
2 Garlic Cloves, pressed
2 Limes, juiced
2.5 lbs Salmon Filets
Sea Salt to taste
Cracked Pepper to taste
Lime slices
Rosemary (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 375°. Line a baking sheet with a large piece of foil. Position Salmon in the center of foil.
- In a small sauce pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the honey, garlic & lime juice. Stir well until the honey has melted through the butter & is well combined.
- Evenly pour the honey- lime mixture over the salmon fillets. Sprinkle a generous amount of salt and cracked pepper. Fold the side of the foil up to keep the sauce under the filets.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until cooked thoroughly. This will depend on the thickness of your salmon & your preference. Then, change the oven setting to broil & cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on medium heat. This will caramelise the top.
- Garnish with rosemary & lime slices. Serve immediately.
